Fuller's Old Fashion BBQ and Buffet is a place well worth visiting, if you are looking for a hearty and filling meal. They have a great variety if you are hungry for this style restaurant.
Upon entering you'll notice the size of this buffet is worth taking note. There is a bar full of in-house desserts, a salad bar, and several hot bars that are piping hot with all sorts of food ranging from pork to chicken. You'll probably need to make several trips to the buffet in order to try as much as you can in one sitting. You'll find your typical sides of mash potatoes, green beans, broccoli, corn, and collard greens. On different days and nights they have some items that rotate in for variety, so it's best if you are looking for something specific to call ahead and find out when it will be served.
My suggestion on the large buffet variety: take a small amount of what you would like to try and go for a bigger portion on the second trip if you are still hungry. You can always keep going, but your plate will only hold so much food : ) There are several southern specialty items on the buffet bar, so make sure to ask if you need to clarify what it is.
Overall, the service was welcoming and friendly, perfect for a single traveler or even a family. There is plenty of seating and space for guests to feel comfortable.
Another tip: Make sure to try some of their fantastic desserts! I loved their crispy-but-chewy chocolate chip cookies and layered cake.

Sigh......I want this place to be great, and while it has the potential to be great, it's lacking in so many areas.
First, the parking lot is atrocious - the spaces are tiny and too close together.
Next, the building is old and the restroom is tiny, with no baby changing station - I had to change my son while sitting on toilet and laying him on my lap.
The buffet is hot, but the food lacks flavor and there is not a lot of space to navigate the buffet area; plus, the buffet area is located directly in front of the restroom area......so if someone has a bowel movement, your appetite can be ruined.
The best thing about Fuller's is the dessert area - they offer a variety of sweet treats that are actually really good. -

Fuller's was a real southern spot! Everything on the buffet was cooked with love. There were so many choices. I felt like a kid in the candy store. Well kinda was in one, their dessert table was abundant in choices. Good place to take the family or go eat with friends.

Friends and I ate here and found that while there were a few nice dishes, most of the warm buffet items were lacking in flavor and quality and the NC BBQ sauce too watery. The dessert selection was impressive! Not bad for the price but was expecting more.
